I had been thinking for months when I finally decided to sell gold. I had won some gold jewellery in a TV show ten years before. I had no idea what to do with it so I put it in a wooden box and hid it under my bed. I thought that I might sell it when hard times come. But they never came. I had a satisfying job and my wife earned a lot of money, too. But I decided to sell gold one day anyway. My twenty-year-old daughter was just about to start her studies at the university. She needed some cash to buy all necessary books and pay her rent. I was thinking long, I actually spend three nights lying in my bed with my eyes wide open. I finally decided to sell the jewellery on an auction website. I did not have any difficulties finding a buyer. The jewellery was not old at all and it was not broken or damaged. Otherwise I would have had to sell it as scrap gold and I wouldn"t have got so much money. I gave the money to my daughter and told her that she knew best what to do with them. She was very happy and I know she wouldn"t waste it. This is the story. This is why I decided to sell gold. Of course, I could have kept it for myself, but what would I do with it? I don"t need some much cash and my daughter has much more difficulties earring enough money to pay for her room in the city.
